There is always positive in the negative and negative in the positive – What are some of the benefits of the current situation?

I have committed to posting positive, motivational and uplifting content to counteract some of the doom and gloom posts, which in reality do no-one any good at all.

It is what it is. Why exacerbate things?

So what are just some of the benefits of the current situation? As a mentor once told me, there is always positive in the negative and negative in the positive.

Here are just a few that have popped into my mind. Number 2 even made me chuckle when I re-read it!

1) A seriously reduced carbon footprint and therefore less pollution!

2) Due to closure, addicted fans of take-aways will have to eat real food. If this continues, their health may even improve and so reduce the burden on the NHS!

3) Strangers saying hello to each other and smiling more often. I know it’s happening to me and yes, I will pretty much engage with anyone who wants to say hello, but I know I’m not alone in this.

4) People looking out for each other, offering assistance to the vulnerable.
