Accenture has purchased UK digital consultancy Bow & Arrow in a move that Consultancy.uk says will boost the global professional services firm’s ability to help communications, media and technology companies tap new revenue opportunities and guide clients from strategy to execution in new ventures. Bow & Arrow’s focus is on supporting clients’ disruption and innovation agendas, and CEO and founder Ben Slater says: “We work with clients when there is an urgent need for fast growth outside of their core business, but they don’t know what to do next.” He adds: Working with Accenture Interactive dramatically increases our capacity to provide game-changing implementation too for these clients.” Lisa De Bonis, Communications, Media & Technology lead at Accenture Interactive, said: “Real innovation is not about building something amazing in isolation, but about value – which comes when you can scale something new for your whole business or all of your customers.” In October, Accenture acquired Happen in its continuing expansion of its digital innovation campaign, and other acquisitions by Accenture include UK-based innovation firm ?What If!, Mindtribe and Altitude in the US, and designaffairs in Germany, all forming part of the Products Industry X.0 unit which advises clients on the use of advanced digital technologies.
