Orna Rabinovich-Einy, an associate professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa, has suggested that within a decade 75% of lawsuits will be litigated online. She says that online processes are significantly cheaper, making the justice system more accessible to people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. According to a study she is currently conducting, replacing the human element – lawyers, mediators, and judges – with technology also helps reduce the impact stereotypes and preconceptions have on rulings.
