Lawyers with specialist technology roles, including legal process engineer and legal analyst, have a new accreditation after a new specialism was launched by the Law Society of Scotland. Paul Mosson, executive director of member services and engagement at the society, remarked: “There has been huge growth in the number of legal professionals diversifying their skills with some taking on specialist technology-based roles.” He continued: “We believe this is a trend that will intensify in the coming years.” Scottish solicitors and Law Society of Scotland accredited paralegals with a good level of experience in legal technology will initially benefit from the move ahead of a wider roll-out.
