ServiceNow has developed a workflow management system for finance professionals that aims to bring an end to the “crunch” periods faced by many during the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close. Amir Jafari, Vice President and General Manager of ServiceNow’s Finance Business Unit, said that its Financial Close Automation package helped the company to save an average of 551 hours during the month-end close process, achieve a 13% increase in month-end close efficiency, and shifted the equivalent of 3.7 full-time employees from manual tasks to more strategic activities.
