Karen Young, a director and recruiting expert at Hays Accountancy & Finance, examines some of the findings from the firm’s What Workers Want Report 2019, which sought to shed light on how employers can implement automation technology by ensuring their staff are on board. To make sure employees are willingly adopting new technology, the report suggests, employers should consider hiring change experts such as change managers with large programme management skills or enable current staff to become change agents. It also notes that keeping employees in the know about developments is key to ensuing there is “buy-in” to investments in new technology.
