International property firm Grosvenor has partnered with innovation platform Plug and Play to support its innovation strategy by sourcing digital technologies. The move forms part of Plug and Play’s ‘Real Estate & Construction vertical.’ The company has run three ‘batches’ of startups since its inception, with OnSiteIQ, which provides visual documentation and a risk assessment platform for construction projects, and Envio Systems, which works on transforming buildings into energy efficient smart structures, among them. Ian Mair, managing director of digital innovation at Grosvenor Group, commented: “We are looking forward to working with Plug and Play to help us source start-ups that can have a positive impact and help us further our purpose of improving properties and places to deliver lasting commercial and social benefit.”
