Michael Cross reports on the Deep Tech Dispute Resolution Lab, based at Oxford University’s Faculty of Law, which is working to identify technologies to “transform the landscape” of dispute resolution. Led by two solicitor academics, the initiative will first set up an advisory board to identify interested organisations in the legal profession to partner with, “to promote cutting-edge research and knowledge exchange between academia, policymakers and practitioners,” according to Dr Mimi Zou, fellow in Chinese commercial law at St Hugh’s College. Dr Zou is leading the project with Mark Beer OBE, who is currently president of the International Association for Courts Administration.
