Entrepreneurs have been giving lawyers advice on how to approach bringing innovation into their firm’s cultures at a recent Solicitors Regulation Authority event in Birmingham. Karl Chapman, strategic adviser at EY Riverview Law, suggested lawyers take time away from day-to-day work pressures to analyse how they would compete with their own business if they were building a new one from scratch. Other topics covered included the use of data to help set fee rates, ensuring the firm was “on the right high street” and the importance of client service.
