City firms Linklaters and Lovetts have both created new management positions to drive firm-wide innovation and collaboration, following in the footsteps of other firms including Taylor Wessing and Clifford Chance.

Partners cite increased client demand for a range of services from legal advisers for the appointments, with lawyers increasingly required to “think outside of their own practice area.”
